I can confirm there is an issue with players being unable to authenticate with the game servers right now. We are aware of the issue and are currently working to fix it!

Ayup... I get 'Connecting to authentication server', then after about 15 seconds I get a bar under the 'Logging in', then it goes to 'Unable to connect to authentication server'...

Logged in today to check aa's, checked one. Logged to another toon checked that one. And behold Failure to authenticate with character server. Guess need to wait a hour before I can do two more and get this again. By the way the characters I checked were not in a guild, if that makes a difference at all and also my alt account works even though my main account is not.
