Why can I only post in Free-to-play?

well as i had been premium for 4 years and we were told that forum access would stay the same its unsuprising that the old vets who have left but still love the game are no longer allowed to post in the main forums.

while many of us have left the game we still love it and want it to do well we just voice opinions that some of the player base dont want to hear or admit.

Well shame on you funcom for pushing your best chance of success even further from the game they clearly love cause if we didnt we wouldnt come on the forums.

and it seems i cant edit my own posts and all my signature/profile stuff is gone

The setup was always planned to be that Free-to-play players have this forum to ask questions or discuss with others. In the past that technical setup did sometimes now work which resulted in some players that were Premium at some point and then went Free-to-play kept having access to the other forums as well. But that was actually not intended.


I will look into the point about profile and signature settings not working to see if there might be an issue with those. Thanks for the heads-up.

Tarib you do relise that this section will get the most use then cause all the vets who don't play but still post will end up fillig this area with threads.

The access to the forums is setup by synching the game account status with the forum user status. If the game account is Free-to-play the forum access will be changed automatically.

If there are healthy discussions going on in the Free-to-play forum, there is no problem if there are many discussions going on in here. Premium players can also post in these forums so discussions are still possible.

In other words: let's enjoy forums within forums. That is always healthy for community.

And since quite a lot of vets are affected by this (not me BTW, I am a sub) we have just lost a nice chunk of community.
