Not only is the game amazing, and getting better by the day, but it now has a director that obviously cares a great deal about his customers.

If Funcom thinks that it is perfectly fine to treat existing customers, and their characters as second class then they are looking at customer service the wrong way.

the point remains, money was spent on those characters. Paid sub time was spent. This is an investment that a customer shouldn't be expected to...

and re-buy the item shop stuff that we bought for those characters??

Indeed. Unless you give 1 point per level to all subscriber-owned characters with less than 80 total AA, to a maximum of 80 total AA, if you catch my meaning.

if ALL item store purchases were account wide and permanent...
