On a serious note, I expect something much more hardcore-oriented than the original Age of Conan at the release. Maybe a pure PVP game. Something much more complicated and with a more steep learning curve. Funcom is known to release masterpieces!
Nevertheless, I think it will come out with a massive microtransaction system.

Microtransactions will be a desaster, because you just need to look at the shop in aoc to know that market analysis, price balance and fair prices are not their strength...and if you look at the german forum, with killing giropay, they also killed the european way of "quick and easy" bank withdrawal "on the fly" sales...(a good environment for microtransactions).
It will be singleplayer game in a style of TSW. That is FC's strategy layed out in Q 2015 reports.
Anyway, it's something to be looking froward to for sure.
My secret wish is for a The Witcher styled RPG series with Conan as the lead character. The world, the story telling, the character everything lends itself so perfectly to a similar format. Oh well... a man can dream *sigh*

Funcom should definitely do a cross over promotion or expansion in AOC for Legend of Conan, or another single player PC game like the upcoming Conan game planned for 2016 in order to associate itself with the movie. They would be foolish to pass up that kind of free publicity, especially as we now know Funcom is willing to invest significantly in its Conan IP again.Quote:

For me Severance (Blade of Darkness) is still one of (if not) the best action/hack n slash games ever. I wish there was a new Conan PC game like Severance.Quote:
