BB is highest dps and the armor almost all sins go for.

here is a nice comparison of all armors and what each set it best at.
As you can see SOJ used to be about stamina and taps. Too bad that stamina is useless stat now (if you have pot on you can't really run out) and taps are too low to make the difference.
Brittle Blade armor is just absurdly good.

Jade gear lack hit, critt and crittical damage. BB is much better.
