well maybe with a crafted polearm, but for that to be the requirement is fail on funcom's design

Im sorry Tman but thats just silly to say t3 crafted is required, did it with t2 polearm on testlive. And besides, failing a couple of times, to learn the encounter, is the best thing with these tougher epic pets, I dont care if other classes faceroll it, whats the fun in that, just enjoy that we actually have to think about what were doing on guard :) Theres alot o ways u can specc a guardian for good handling of the mechanics.
I did it with T1 polearm as well, so that is not a valid argument.

But just for fun, Moon Child works even in sword and shield specc

I complete agree with Moriala on this topic, 99% of the pets are literally 'go frenzy > stand still > nuke them down', so having a couple of them that require you a bit more than that is really good. Having a challenge is not a bad thing and if you don't want it you can always fight some other pets. I like it that you cannot do every single pet first try, failing and learning from it is fun sometimes!
I tried for lols Queen Cao-Polyphya in sword and shield specc using Prime initiative perk. It didn't let a single heal go trough for example. It is really good that you can approach those fights in many different ways with guardian and do them no problem.

Have a nice day!
Im glad the community is filled with all the l2p euros. Btw i have killed this a few times now.
how do you know how many tries ive had? and yes 5 min is prob too much.. most times ive failed ive been no more than 20 sec short. but im also speaking for the players who are not vocal on this..
And if funcom makes the encounter longer who cares? this l2p nonsense from the euros gets old. Its the same story.
