Un F----king Real, Nuff Said.
Not addressing this issue after so many years is equivalent to giving the finger to all the numerous players it's affecting. For me it has been a cold reminder of why I quit in the first place. Why pay for a game you can't play? Free-to-play is not an option as I'm not interested in a "half-game".
I have zero interest in hearing any suggestions on how to optimize my computer or change some settings to "maybe fix" this issue. Nothing is wrong with my computer. In fact, the only two games I've ever had this kind of problem are AoC and Secret World, so it's quite safe to say the problem is with Funcom.
I wish they would at least acknowledge this thread. Silence is just a sign of apathy and indifference towards paying customers.
can you ****ing fix this already!!!!!!!!!!
SITTIN HERE WAITING FOR THAT DAMN AUTHENTICATION SERVER SHITE TO REACT AGAIN!! DAMN....
This issue is what makes me go play other games.
I'm sure it would only take 2-3 lines of code to fix this silly problem.
PSEUDOCODE:
If player.status == Game.Status.LoggingIn && Game.Status.CharacterSelectScreen == true
Then
player.status = Game.Status.LoggedOut
DoLogin()
Well that just happened to me again. Is this STILL not fixed? Wow...
Same issue here...but not for just 15-20 mins...I'm here waiting TO PLAY A GAME I PAY FOR since 1h 1/2 at least.
I'm starting to find this almost funny. I made a ticket about this recently for the umpteenth time and once again I received a classical reply of "No other player seem to have this problem at the moment." and "Your connection has packet loss, so it's your fault." Nice Funcom. Live in denial. Why do you think players are not staying with your crappy games?
Besides, there's no use in typing anything on these forums, dudes and dudettes. No one from the dev team or anyone even remotely important ever reads these posts.
It happened to me after I lost connection to the Internet. I shall check it again in six hours!
