Voice and skin colour changeable would be nice, since those in creation screen do not always represent those ingame (e.g. you can make "wrong choices" with best intend here).
For roleplaying and variety, there should be more skin tones available anyway (e.g. make those all available independant of "race"). This would also give a huge variety in facial expression/class/skin combinations. All without meddling with models, classes or races.
As a GM once stated, changing any of the appearance features is likely to "mess up a character" completely (I tried to get blue eyes on my Stygian character). :laugh:
Why can't they let the customers decide, what is "messed up" or not?
I can not guess of a TECHNICAL reason to disallow skin tone changes (or are they using limited color palettes, each different for model????).
And no one is asking for purple or bright red skin permanent, just the natural ones should do.
Pretty sure someone from FC said at one point that adding complete character recustomization would be extremely work-intensive due to technical reasons specific to AoC, and so is unlikely to happen.
Can we then get official statement from FC?
Probably because they would need a new interface programmed for it and those who programmed the original char creation are not in the company anymore.Quote:

What might be a problem is their database structure, because i can imagine problems appearing like with beards, when obviously the possible beard types are limited.
Still....just imagine a hidden door in the sukhs of Khemi...a sign saying "magic potions and enhancements". Then inside a copy of Tarishas shop and a magician making a living of altering the looks of rich foreigners, spies, criminals and noble stygians alike :) Or a witch hut deep in purple lotus swamp or the laceish haunted woods...
Currently, character re-customization is not something we plan to make available right now as it's very intensive to get this set up.
Should our plans change and we offer character re-customization, we'll update our playerbase. Thanks for bringing this up again, it's an intriguing idea certainly!
