say i have 10% chance to resist stuns and a 10% evade chance
a barb with 15% hit rating does earth shatter. How likely am I to evade completely? How likely am I do get hit by the combo, but resist the stun? Basically are evade and resist chance calculated at the same time and equally(which would mean 2.5% evade and 2.5% resist chance)?
CC resist is different to evade and hit rating. There is no separate "hit rating for CC" so when barb lands earth shatter he cant miss stun effect if the target havent resist abilities or after-stun/global immunity. When target have 10% chance to resist stun it works literally and when resist happens barb performs just damage from combo but not stun. And i think target cant evade combo in this situation since 10% evade is lesser than 15% hit rating :D When ES finisher is evaded there is no stun effect obviously.
