The events for today are now over.
A bit more information on a couple of the events that will be active throughout the day in the Khopsheff Province adventure zone:
Team Event : Fields of Slaughter
This is basically a king of the hill event. A static flag will become active in a certain part of the map and whichever team of 6 has claim over that flag at the end of a certain time period will be declared the winning team. To claim the flag you need to interact with it for a certain duration.
Acheronian invaders have been spotted in the area and can attack the captured point themselves, creating situations where the defending team are particularly vulnerable to attack.
Credit is given to the winning team, so while you can join a raid only the team of 6 who claimed the flag will be declared the winners.
Interacting with the flag while under the effects of any sort of immunity 'bubble' will not be possible.
It is possible for multiple Field of Slaughter points to be active at the same time.

Solo Event : Arena of Death
This is the second event type that will run on the day.
A part of the playfield will be considered to be an 'Arena of Death'. When the event is active you will receive an 'Arena Gladiator' buff while in this area. You will score points by making kills of other players with the 'Arena Gladiator' buff.
The Arena will be active for a set time period, at the end of that time period the players from each archetype with the highest number of points will be declared the winners, in the event of a tie the first player to reach that score will be the winner for that archetype.
While inside the Arena all players will be considered hostile targets, even those in the same group or guild as yourself.
Below are the rough locations that will be classified as arenas when this event becomes active.

Other events may trigger throughout the day but they will be more spontaneous in nature.
