Several members of my guild and I are not able to get past the patcher.
It says "checking files" but nothing happens.
I tried conanpatcher.exe, AoC quick start without patcher etc. Nothing works.
Anyone encountered the same issue and/or has a solution?
Started conanpatcher (since i run aocqs to skip patcher). Was stuck at the patcher "downloading information" blabl.
Started game without patcher - logged in - no problems.
Started patcherstup.exe - worked fine.
Started conanpatcher - worked fine.
Are you sure you have the latest aocqs version and set it up correctly?

I'm having similar problem today - patcher stuck on Downloading patch information, no progress for last 20 minutes. Looks there's something wrong on Funcom's servers.
EDIT: I managed to log in after 30 min. It seems OK now.
Log on server is a bit slow, but it does seem to be working.
If you're stuck at the "Downloading Patch Information" step, it should clear after some time. In the meantime, though, we're investigating a resolution.
