But I keep getting authentication error at log in.I had to go through much trouble just to gain my old account and characters back. reactivated my monthly subscription and i can get on. ANY WAY AROUND THIS?...I did open a different free to play account while waiting to get the old account restored,and i am able to log into that one.
try going inot your account page and updating your personal information sometimes this will fix that authentication error
You might not have same account for your account page as your in-game password, just change in-game password and see what happens :>

You can try the "live chat" option on your account page. Thats what i did. I think i had a similar problem
I just wished I would have tried that before reinstalling the game. looking like patching it is gonna take 1 day.
