Rise of the Godslayer Problem

I purchased the Rise of the Godslayer, I uninstalled the original game as directed and installed the game which includes the expansion pack. After the game was installed and the downloads completed, the game says that I don't have the expansion and can't create a Khitian character. Is there a problem with the installation? I re-installed the game three times with the same results. Can anyone help? Tech support just told me that I must purchase the Rise of the Godslayer to create a Khitian character. That's exactly what I did and exactly why I purchased it in the first place.

Have you registered your ROGS key in your game account?
The expansion is not about your client, it must be also in your game account.
